James 4:8 Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field.

I come close to God by spending time with God.

Choose what is good, and stick to goodness.
Stay unchanged, yet accept what comes according to circumstances.

Rectify the mind and make the will sincere.
Stay vigilant and prudent.
